Volution continues the roll out of the latest App controlled extract fan

Volution Group plc (LSE: FAN), a leading supplier of ventilation products to the residential construction market, today announced the launch of its Bluetooth-enabled Svara fan in the UK under the Vent-Axia brand. Svara, the first App-controlled fan represents the UK launch of a fan developed in Sweden for sale across the group. It follows the successful roll out of the fan named Calima in Sweden and sold under the Pax brand and precedes the roll out in Germany of the fan named Pulsar under the Inventer brand. Thanks to the ground-breaking device, users can now download the free App in their local market, under their local brand, in their local language and use their smartphone to control their ventilation.

The launch marks the next generation of unitary fans. In the UK the fan is delivered factory set for continuous operation at low speed, with humidity and presence detectors activated. Once the App is downloaded households or installers can then unlock a whole range of different functions to control their home’s indoor air quality, such as a silent scheduling and automatic cycles, offering flexible ventilation to suit a household’s lifestyle. Installers are also able to configure the fan at installation simply and easily minimising the number of fans they need to stock and carry.
